We are pleased to announce travel grants to partially subsidize travel costs of selected Ph.D. holders and Junior Faculty co-authors of papers accepted for presentation at ISIT 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for an ISIT 2025 Travel Grant, the applicant must be:
- A PhD holder who graduated within the last three years or a junior faculty member within the first three years of the faculty position (as of June 23, 2025)
- A co-author of an accepted ISIT 2025 paper with a final version uploaded
- Having completed an ISIT registration by May 10, 2025
Application Priority
Preference will be given to:
- First-author PhD holders
- Under-represented groups (e.g., people with disability, women, minorities, and from locations where travel funds are limited)
PhD holders from all other groups will be given second preference.
Application Process
Complete the application through our Google Form, which requires:
- Contact information: Name, academic institution/company, position, email contact
- Contact information of a faculty member in the author list (or senior line manager if not applicable) to fill in the recommender Google Form
- ISIT 2025 paper information (paper number, title, co-authors)
- Date of PhD graduation or date of joining faculty position
- Estimated travel expenses (airfare, hotel, and conference registration)
Note for US Applicants: If you are affiliated with a US institute of higher learning, you may need to comply with Fly America Act when choosing your flight carrier to become eligible for support from NSF funds.
Reimbursement Process
- Award recipients must submit COPIES of expense receipts for reimbursement
- Instructions for submission will be provided in the award letter
- If actual expenses are less than the awarded amount, only incurred expenses will be reimbursed
